Tom Dixon → 24 Hours in Shanghai

In the beginning of June 2021, Tom Dixon appeared part virtually, part live for 24 Hours in Shanghai.⁠ TD celebrated Shanghai’s creative culture with a series of physical and digital events, talks, activities and live workshops.⁠
⁠⁠Events included: Design Shanghai, Architectural Digest China Editor Beryl Hsu, Neri&Hu Design and Research Office and retail giant Tmall.⁠

‘DIXIONARY’ which was a nod to Tom Dixon’s eponymous book, being published in Mandarin, and celebrate the brand’s past, present and future.

Renowned local artists showed how they customise MELT lights, as a celebration of Shanghai’s creative force. The customised lights will be featured as an installation in their Xintiandi Shop.
